Samsung will start mass production of its new multimedia card line, which is said to be 20 times faster than existing cards. Offerings will include MMC Plus with storage of 64MB, 128 MB, 256MB and 512 MB; MMC Mobile with storage of 64MB, 128 Mb, 256 Mb and 512 MB; MMC Micro with 512MB. Samsung stated that in the future these high-speed multi-media cards can be used in portable offerings such as mobile phones, PDAs and MP3 players.
